Youth

As a father of two kids I see a new generation growing up.

Proudly I watch how they change day by day.

They learn so quickly and start taking their own decision.

Sometimes we have to slow them down but overall we love them.

Everything has also a dark side.

When I went to school, there was a certain aggressivity among certain children but it was still manageable.

These were also 10 to 12 year old but nowadays it starts with 5 years.

Today when my daughter came home from school, she showed me that one of her teeth was tobbling but a lot. This morning she didn't say a word about her teeth.

I thought this was rather odd so I asked her if she fell on her face or if somebody hit her.

She told me that another child hit her on the shoulder and then said he was going to kill her.

She didn't tell me what happened next, only that her teeth started to hurt.

Imagine a 5 year old kid being already this aggressive to actual want to kill somebody. Perhaps he didn't know what he was saying or what death means but parents need to talk to their children and show them the right way.

Even when it's hard to deal with.

I immediately told her teacher the story because it's the only way to protect my child.
