Silence your mind

A few days earlier I did something that I should have done much sooner. I deleted all of my social media apps on my phone. Not the entire account only the app put away from my phone.

My mind was just too chaotic.

"Oh let's see what's new on facebook or twitter or Instagram or Linkedin?"

New notifications popped into my eyes.

In the end it was nothing special.

Overall the last few months were completely boring and still my eyes were glued to the screen.

Precious time was wasted onto nothing.

But it was all in my head all the time.

I couldn't rest properly, had to know the latest news even though these news didn't change my life.


I had enough!

Time to put the focus on my life.

Almost every morning I take my time for a zen meditation.

So I'm sitting there crossed leg and thinking about nothing.

Every thought that comes to my mind, I try to vanish so that I clear my mind from every distraction.

It's not that easy but I feel better afterwards.


Without interacting with social media, without any notifications on your phone, your mind feels already so much calmer. More space for the important thoughts.
