Being healthy

A looong time ago I was in the shape of my life. I went 3 times a week to the gym, I went hiking on weekends (20km and the harder the track the better it was).
Now 7-8 years later I'm not even close to being in shape.
I set myself the goal to do at least 50 push ups per day but not only for a year but forever.
Why should I just be in shape for a limited amount of time if I can be the best of me every single day?
Today we're the 9th of January and it's the second day that I can already do 60 push ups. So I already improved after only a week.
Being in shape doesn't only require to do some trainings, there are other points too.
No alcohol, this one isn't really that hard because I rarely drank the last few months. Those last days it doesn't came to my mind to have a drink.
No sugar, hands down the hardest one. Everywhere I go there are candys or chocolate.
At work or at home.
It's devastating.
I already lowered my consumption a lot but it's still not enough.
I have to work on that one.
Skin Care is also a good point for being in shape. So after over a year and half my wife and I didn't visit a sauna. We took our time today and sweat all the shit out of our body. It felt so great.
Being naked, being free.
We're going to these more often.
Once every month sounds good.
Nearly forgot food!
Because I have trouble with cholesterol, I already changed my food habits.
Reducing fat products and say hello to more vegetables.
It doesn't even feel like "It's not tasting but I have to eat it".
It just feels right.
Being in shape, doesn't mean that you have to do things that you don't want to do. Because then you'll stop at one point and go back to the life that you had before.
But we don't want to live in the past.
We wanna go forward.
